Looking at an early-80's B7100 4wd, gear tranny, good Ag tires, 1525hrs, good tin and paint. Comes with 48" rear mower, 48" snowblower, rear scraper blade, rear tiller, and lawn roller. Price is $6700 CDN ($5200 U.S.). How many hours are these tractors good for? What kind of repairs am I possibly looking at down the road? Does this price seem fair?

Thanks for the input Ray. I took it for a test drive and it seemed like a good little unit. What did you trade yours in for? Just curious.....

In early May '04 I made an offer on a B7100, 60"MMM, HST, 4x4, with 1150 hours. It was a 1992, which is the first year Kubota re-introducted the B7100. I would have paid $4500 but he decided not to sell. I found a '93 with 800 hours I could have gotten for about $4200, but after talking to the previous owner (tractor was at a NH dealer) I didn't buy it. Found another one with 700 hours for $5700, but didn't check it out. The price range of B7100's went from a low of $3500 to a high of $6500. All had HST, 4x4, 60"MMM.
I found the prices all over the place, all of these where located in Kentucky. I ended up springing for a new NH TZ24DA at $10,500. Hopes this helps. ....
